Send the customer a link to pay for an order.
A payment link opens a secure page where the customer enters their own card and pays for an order.
Share it three ways: email it, text it, or get the link and a QR code to show a customer who is with you.
- Sharing a payment link changes the order: a
draftorder moves topending, and itschannelbecomesECOM. - You can't share a payment link for an order that's already
active,completeorregistered, or that has taken a payment. - Each link contains the order's access token. Treat it like a password: anyone who has the link, or a photo of the QR code, can open the order's payment page.
