Workflow and integration use case

In this BillPro use case, the merchant is an insurance mutual society that sells pension plans.

They use a popular CRM, such as Salesforce. The mutual society's sales agents call potential customers to offer them insurance plans. The CRM integration uses the BillPro API to create a customer and a pending order.

The sales agents in a call centre log in to BillPro to work on their orders. Each agent has restricted access: they can view their own customers and orders only.

They try to collect the payments over the phone with the 3D secure virtual terminal. If customers prefer, sales agents can send them a payment link by email or SMS from the BillPro UI.

Agents can open the order in the CRM, which calls the BillPro API to request the order status. The merchant also uses the BillPro gateway webhook feature to obtain the status of recurring payments to add to the CRM.
