SMS payment link

To send a payment link by SMS, you must have a phone number and country code in the customer account.

When you have created an order, to send a request for payment or card registration to a customer by SMS, click the SMS Payment Link button.

BillPro sends an SMS notification that the order is ready to the phone number in the customer account. To view an example of the SMS, see Order ready SMS.

After you send the payment request, the order has a Pending status until the customer makes an approved payment or card registration, see Process pending orders, or until you cancel the order.

The payment links in the original SMS and any reminders open the checkout. The checkout is available until the customer makes an approved payment, pre-authorisation, or card registration. After that, the payment links open the order portal. Here the customer can view the order details and billing history, and manage cards for recurring payments. If PDF invoicing is activated, the customer can also download invoices, receipts and credit notes.
