Use commas for Excel CSV export
Change your system settings to use decimal separators
When you import customers to BillPro from a CSV file, the fields should be comma separated.
If you are using Excel to edit a CSV file, and your country uses commas as decimal separators, when you save as a CSV file, Excel may use a different separator, such as a semicolon.
To use commas as separators, in your operating system settings, change the number format to use decimal points.
For example, for a Spanish computer running macOS, do these steps.
- Go to System Settings > General > Language & Region.
- Change the Number format to use a decimal point.
- You can also change the Date format to use a four-digit year to make it easier to correctly format the date in Excel.
