In BillPro you can manage the billing events for scheduled payments on instalment, subscription, and metered orders. See Manage billing events.

The customer receives this notification if you change the payment date for a single billing event. See Manage billing events

Payment Skipped
The customer receives this notification if one or more billing events are skipped. When you skip a billing event, you will not collect the payment amount, which is removed from the total amount of the order. See Manage billing events
