Mark an order as complete

A live order is one whose initial payment or card registration was approved. You can't cancel a live order, but you can mark it as Complete.

When an order is Complete, BillPro collects no more billing events. You can still refund payments, but you can't change the order.

To list completed orders, open Orders, click Filters, select Status › Complete, and click Apply. Completed orders have a blue tick icon.

When orders become complete

• A single payment debit becomes Complete after the customer pays.
• A pre-authorised single payment becomes Active, then Complete when you capture or reverse it.
• An instalment order becomes Complete when every billing event is collected. If the customer pays more than the order value, it becomes Review instead, and stays there until you mark it as complete.
• Metered orders don't complete on their own. Subscriptions end when you cancel them.

You can mark any live order as complete. If you mark a Failed or Suspended order as complete, BillPro doesn't collect the outstanding payments.

Mark an order as complete

1. Open the order from Orders, a customer's Related Orders tab, or Payments › Billing Exceptions.

2. On the Order Summary, click the … menu and select Mark as Complete.

   

3. Click Continue to confirm.

   

BillPro marks the order as complete and collects no more scheduled payments. The uncollected billing events of an instalment order become Cancelled.
