Secure checkout

BillPro's 3D secure checkout for ecommerce payments

When the customer clicks on Proceed to Checkout in a payment request message or uses the payment link, BillPro opens a secure checkout page.

The checkout page displays the products and their images, pricing adjustments, including tax, and order information, which includes the order type and payment dates. It also displays the customer details and merchant details. The customer can then click the Checkout button and enter their card details.

PCI DSS Level 1 compliance

In BillPro, merchants and customers enter card details directly into the payment gateway iframe. The payment gateway has PCI DSS Level 1 compliance. BillPro does not process or store sensitive card data. BillPro displays masked card numbers and stores tokens to represent the cards stored in the payment gateway.

For an instalment, subscription, or metered payment order, the customer must select Save card details. The customer must agree to the terms and conditions. For single payment orders, the customer can save their card details.

If the customer takes over 25 minutes to enter their card details, the checkout ID expires, and the customer must reload the page to try the payment again.

The checkout will display a confirmation message if the customer's transaction is approved.

If the customer's transaction is declined, the CardCorp checkout will display a message and the Try Again button. The Stripe payment iframe handles the failed payment directly.
