Overview
Add customers and manage their accounts, cards and orders
A customer is a person or company you sell to. Every order belongs to a customer, and BillPro sends them their payment links and emails.
For the complete documentation index, see llms.txt
How customers work
- Add the customer. Add them on their own, from a CSV file, or while you create an order. You need their name and email, and a postal code and country for the billing address. See Create customers.
- Sell to them. Each order you create for the customer appears in their account.
- BillPro saves their cards. When the customer pays, BillPro can save the card for later payments. It stores a secure token, never the full card number.
- Keep the account up to date. Edit their details, add notes and tags, and help them update their cards.
The customer account
Open a customer from the Customers list to see everything about them in one place:
- Customer: their contact details and billing address.
- Related Orders: every order for this customer.
- Cards: their saved cards, and which orders use each one.
- Event Logs: the emails and changes on their account.
- Notes & Tags: your own notes, and tags to group customers.
