Overview
Build the catalogue of what you sell
Products are the goods and services you sell. Every order contains at least one product, so set up your products before you take payments.
For the complete documentation index, see llms.txt
How products work
- Set up your pricing elements. Create the taxes, discounts and fees you use often, and the groups and units to organise products. You only do this once.
- Create the product. Give it a name and price, and choose its purchase type: single payment, instalment, subscription or metered. See Purchase types.
- Decide what your team can change. Lock the price, or the payment schedule, so every order uses the same terms. Leave them unlocked to adjust them per order.
- Sell it. Add the product to an order, or share it from a public product page.
What's in the Products menu
| Menu item | What it holds |
|---|---|
| Products List | Your products, with their type, price and status. |
| Taxes, Discounts, Fees | Pricing elements you add to products. Tax is always included in the price. |
| Groups, Units | Ways to organise products, and how you count them, such as hours or policies. |
Only admins can create and change products. Other roles can see them.
