Orders from product pages

Find and manage the orders customers create from product pages

When a customer buys from a product page, BillPro creates the order for you. You manage it like any other order.

How the order is created

  1. The customer enters their details and clicks Continue to checkout. BillPro creates the order with the Draft status.
    • If the email is new, BillPro also creates a customer account.
    • If the email belongs to an existing customer, the customer confirms it with a code first, and BillPro adds the order to their account. See Buy from a product page.
  2. The customer pays at the checkout.
    • A single payment order becomes Complete.
    • A subscription becomes Active, and BillPro collects the next payments on schedule.

The order has the product, options and quantity the customer chose.

Find product page orders

Product page orders appear in Orders with your other orders. See Display orders.

To tell them apart, open the order. On the Summary tab, Created by shows an address ending in @product-page.bill.pro instead of a user's email. The Order Logs tab shows the same.

Orders that aren't paid

If a customer enters their details but doesn't pay, the order stays Draft. To follow up, open the order and send the customer a payment link, as for any draft order. See Collect payments.

📘

Cancel old draft orders

Check for old draft orders regularly and cancel them. See Process draft orders and Cancel an order.
